WAGNER WINS CHESAPEAKE, NEWPORT NEWS STRAW POLLS
FURTHER SIGN OF GROWING SUPPORT

RICHMOND – Yesterday, former Secretary of Finance Jody Wagner won two straw polls for the Democratic nomination for Lt. Governor conducted by the Chesapeake Democrats and Newport News Democrats. Both victories came by a wide margin, and are further evidence of Wagner’s continued support and momentum throughout the Commonwealth.

Said Wagner: “I’m humbled by this grassroots support, and these victories show just how strong our organization is. I look forward to working with these dedicated Democrats in the weeks and months ahead, as we set our sights on defeating Bill Bolling in November.”
