Lt. Governor Candidate Jody Wagner (D) spent her Friday in Charlottesville learning about new frontiers in alternative energy.
Wagner, who is running against incumbent Bill Bolling ®, toured ‘Altenergy’, a local company that installs solar powered water heaters and electrical devices.
Wagner says she’s using the opportunity to learn more about what she calls a very important topic.
“I think it’s going to be huge,” Wagner said. “Not just the next four years, I think the next ten years because the future of the nation is really [resting] on making sure that we get off of foreign oil and we get onto renewable energy. It’s going to be groups like [Altenergy] that are really going to be making the difference in moving us forward.”
Wagner made several other stops while in Charlottesville Friday, accompanied by Mayor Dave Norris and House of Delegates candidate Cynthia Neff.
